About the role
- Business Solution Engineer responsible for designing and developing product solutions for KION's Contract Management System. Collaborating cross-functionally in a multinational environment with a focus on optimization and support.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into solution designs and functional specifications, and subsequently into working systems, applications, or automations
- Manage L1 (and L2) application support and change delivery for all solutions
- Perform testing for all delivered solutions, including writing test cases and supporting teams with UAT
- Execute audit controls, analyze business operations, and identify opportunities for optimization
- Support the successful delivery of the KION Financial Services Data Platform
- Provide training and support to teams on new processes and solutions as part of an ongoing release calendar
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Business Consultant, Solution Engineer, or similar role in a complex multinational enterprise environment
- Proven experience designing complex business solutions and taking them from ideation to delivery
- Experience working with data, including producing visualizations to support decision-making
- Familiarity with IT architecture, cybersecurity principles, and release management processes
