Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to gather, analyze, and understand their business needs
- Translate those needs into functional IT solutions tailored to various domains and business contexts
- Contribute to the development of estimates required for proposals, in collaboration with the sales team
- Write functional requirements documentation
- Perform quality analyses to ensure that the requirements defined in the statement of work have been correctly implemented
- Analyze and quantify change requests and enhancement requests
- Ensure the writing, updating, and modification of documentation and project records during the project
- Draft user guides for end users
- Deliver demonstrations and provide training on developed systems
- Provide support to team members and contribute to certain management support tasks
- Undertake occasional on-site visits to clients for certain assignments, when required
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Driver's license required for occasional travel
- Proficiency in French (written, spoken, comprehension) required
- English is an asset, as some clients are English-only
- Strong command of requirements analysis techniques: elicitation, scoping, process modeling (BPMN, flowcharts), writing functional specifications and user stories
- Experience with modeling and collaboration tools (e.g.: Figma, Miro, Azure DevOps, Jira, or equivalent)
- Strong interest in using generative artificial intelligence tools
