About the role

  • Sr Sales Representative for Kemira's Packaging & Hygiene Solutions, managing accounts and developing long-term customer relationships. Focus on innovative, sustainable chemistry solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Managing accounts in the North West of England and surrounding areas
  • Supporting the preparation of sales plans and demand forecasts
  • Identifying new business opportunities and gathering market intelligence
  • Managing and developing your sales territory
  • Visiting existing and new customers, assessing customer needs
  • Responding promptly and accurately to customer inquiries
  • Defining customer needs through technical trials and tests at customer sites
  • Coordinating technical support, including follow-up on samples

Requirements

  • Education in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or another relevant field
  • Technical and commercial experience in tissue or paper manufacturing
  • Strong account management skills
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), ERP (SAP), and sales systems
  • Experience in the paper manufacturing sector or sales experience in the paper-chemical sector would be an asset
