Responsibilities
- Provide technical and organizational leadership for the gardening team
- Manage, coordinate and execute landscape construction projects from inception through completion
- Ensure quality, schedule compliance and budget control across all garden projects
- Communicate with other team leaders, teams and senior management — professionally and with a solutions focus
- Lead and develop staff, including training, work scheduling and personnel responsibility
- Contribute to bid/cost estimation and project planning
Requirements
- Degree in landscape architecture, certified master gardener (Gärtnermeister), technician in landscape construction (Gala‑Bau), or long-standing experience in garden and landscape construction as well as ornamental plant production
- Initial leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of plants and construction materials
- Excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills and assertiveness
- Confident handling of suppliers and external service providers
- Very good German language skills; English skills are an advantage
