About the role

  • Küchenleitung responsible for managing 2,500 daily meals and expanding to 4,000. Leading a kitchen team while ensuring quality and efficiency standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • You oversee the production of currently 2,500 meals daily and prepare processes for expansion to a total of 4,000 meals.
  • You are responsible for developing and expanding our catering division and for the culinary support of internal and external events.
  • You lead, motivate and develop your kitchen team, including an in-house driver/delivery service, and ensure duty rostering that balances quality and employee satisfaction.
  • Ensuring HACCP standards in an EU-certified kitchen, as well as cost-effective food-cost control and budget planning, are part of your daily responsibilities.
  • You develop modern catering concepts that take sustainability and regional sourcing into account.

Requirements

  • You are a Küchenmeister (master chef) or hold an equivalent qualification with substantial experience in large-scale kitchen/catering operations.
  • You have successfully led large teams and are thoroughly familiar with the processes of communal/institutional catering.
  • You enjoy scaling production volumes and balancing everyday operations with event catering.
  • You identify with the Christian values of our sponsoring organization and treat others with respect and appreciation.
