About the role

  • Key Account Manager working with energy traders and utilities, enhancing their AI-powered weather intelligence. Focusing on customer success and sales engineering to drive account growth.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with key customers and act as their main point of contact post-sale.
  • Lead onboarding and technical integrations, helping customers connect to Jua’s APIs, data pipelines, and analytics tools.
  • Define goals, success metrics, and ROI in collaboration with customers to ensure measurable impact on their trading outcomes
  • Analyze and communicate weather and market data insights that influence trading strategies and decision-making
  • Manage renewals, upsells, and cross-sells in close partnership with the sales team, identifying opportunities for account expansion
  • Track account health, usage, and satisfaction, and take proactive steps to resolve any issues
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to surface insights, feedback, and feature requests from customers, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.
  • Represent Jua at customer meetings, workshops, and industry events, acting as the key link between internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in key account management, customer success, or technical solutions roles, within a startup environment
  • Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, visualization, APIs, and workflow troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with energy trading markets and how weather data influences trading decisions
  • Ability to interpret and explain weather data and forecasts to both technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Proven success managing renewals, upsells, or account expansion in a technical or data-driven context
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the proven ability to collaborate effectively across sales, product, and engineering
  • A high degree of ownership, adaptability, and curiosity, with the drive to move fast and deliver meaningful results.
