Responsibilities
Develop, support, and execute visual merchandising communication and presentation standards across assigned Journeys Group concepts.
Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to maintain visual consistency and enhance in-store brand storytelling.
Support the planning and execution of visual merchandising communication initiatives by coordinating development, production, photography, and document design.
Collaborate on communication workflows by tracking project timelines, coordinating photo shoots, and ensuring timely and accurate information for field teams.
Provide store support for locations that reach out via email and portal feedback on visual merchandising questions and requests.
Assist with the organization and execution of in-studio photo shoots, including photography editing and image processing.
Work closely with Buying and Merchandising partners to translate seasonal priorities into clear visual strategies.
Support the ongoing creation and maintenance of computer aided design (CAD) materials.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Design or Art preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Photoshop, InDesign and Mac operating system
Journeys retail store management experience (minimum 2+ years store management experience) or other varied retail experience
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficient in digital photography and editing
A passion for visual merchandising, design, and retail presentation trends
Ability to lift, push, and pull 30-50 pounds for display shifting and moving VM items
