About the role

  • Lead Internal Communications strategies for L.A. Care Health Plan, supporting employee engagement and organizational priorities. Collaborate with stakeholders to produce compelling internal messaging.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the production and distribution of L.A. Care’s daily employee e-newsletter
  • Support and maintain intranet content
  • Monitor performance metrics for internal channels
  • Write, edit, and format messaging for internal audiences
  • Maintain editorial calendars
  • Lead assigned internal communications projects and campaigns
  • Serve as liaison to Human Resources for organizational messaging needs
  • Build relationships with internal departments and senior leaders
  • Manage complex projects and engage key stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications or Related Field
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or corporate communications
  • Proven successful experience developing and executing internal messaging strategies
  • Strong background experience writing, editing, and formatting content for internal audiences
  • Experience managing daily communications channels such as employee newsletters and intranet platforms
  • Experience collaborating with Human Resources, executive leadership, and cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of internal communications best practices
