About the role

  • Sales Representative for Building Automation Service, focusing on service offerings and customer relationships. Involves extensive coordination, documentation, and technical components.

Responsibilities

  • Sales of service offerings in the field of building automation (MSR/BMS) within the assigned sales territory — including responsibility for targets
  • Calculating and preparing quotations for maintenance, repairs, system optimizations and expansions (retrofit projects)
  • Technical specification of MSR components in close coordination with the responsible technical departments
  • Coordination with internal execution units and obtaining quotations from suppliers and subcontractors in accordance with internal guidelines
  • Negotiation, conclusion and preparation of service contracts (e.g. maintenance, inspection and emergency service contracts) in compliance with JCI guidelines
  • Acquisition of target customers as well as maintenance and development of existing key customer relationships
  • Documentation of all activities in Johnson Controls' proprietary sales information system

Requirements

  • Completed qualification as a Meister (master craftsman) or state-certified technician (m/f/d), e.g. in electrical, automation or refrigeration technology
  • Several years of professional experience in the relevant field
  • Very good knowledge of MSR / building automation and a strong product understanding
  • Experience in preparing quotations and in contract law
  • Sales aptitude, negotiation skills and a confident customer-facing manner
  • Structured, independent working style and enjoyment of collaborating with internal and external partners
