About the role

  • Regional Sales Manager focusing on Advanced Hemostasis and Healing in the LA Metro Region. Leading sales strategies and team development while managing customer relationships for surgical technologies.

Responsibilities

  • enable a transformative shift to facility-level account management
  • develop and implement an account plan for each facility
  • identify and foster relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers
  • mobilize divisional resources to anticipate and respond to customer needs
  • lead the sales representatives to implement and complete sales demand strategies
  • provide sales representatives with sufficient support, supervisory oversight, and customer engagement
  • coach and career development of the sales representatives
  • manage and coordinate appropriate resources tailored to specific facility level needs
  • create facility level cost-benefit analysis for deploying resources
  • examine contract issues and arrive at the best recommendation/decision for the customer and company
  • apply business insight tools to identify facility specific growth opportunities
  • conduct periodic field visits to develop selling skills
  • recruit and hire to ensure territories are filled with the most qualified sales associates
  • use appropriate surgical use of products within defined specialties

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in an applicable field is required, with an MBA (or equivalent) preferred.
  • 5+ Years relevant business and/or leadership experience required.
  • 5+ years in clinical sales, marketing, professional education, sales learning/ development, or commercial functional experience is strongly preferred.
  • 2 years of experience coaching, mentoring, training is also required.
  • 1-2 years of direct leadership experience of a group of employees.
  • Participation in a Sales Leadership Development Program and/or interim RSM role 6+ months, is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 United States is required.
  • The ability to travel, including overnight and/or weekends, up to 60% of the time is also required.
