Responsibilities
Advise and support grocery-retail (LEH) customers in your territory as the competent contact for spices in the Nuremberg and Ansbach region
Onboard, provide technical and disciplinary leadership, and motivate your team, including arranging cover and vacation planning
Build and maintain long-term, partnership-based relationships with decision-makers in the grocery retail sector
Analyze and manage sales KPIs and distribution rollouts, and implement targeted measures to leverage customer-specific potential
Coordinate shelf agreements and plan new store set-ups in close collaboration with customers and the refit team
Agree and implement secondary placements to support sales promotions
Monitor the market and ensure POS excellence
Conduct regional meetings and training sessions and support recruiting processes
Requirements
Completed commercial vocational training, preferably in the FMCG sector or retail
Solid industry knowledge in grocery retail and regional networks (e.g., district manager, store manager, or sales manager)
Ideally some leadership experience and an understanding of KPIs
Good knowledge of common MS Office applications
Driving licence and willingness to travel and stay overnight
Friendly demeanour, strong team and communication skills, commitment, and cost awareness
Negotiation skills and assertiveness when engaging with negotiation partners in the role of Area Sales Manager (m/f/d)
