About the role

  • Procurement Manager managing international procurement projects across all business units for IT goods and services. Overseeing strategies and optimizing procurement processes within a global scope.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an internal service provider for global procurement of IT goods and IT services
  • Manage and execute international procurement projects across all business units
  • Plan and implement global procurement strategies aligned with corporate objectives
  • Serve as the interface to internal demand requesters and stakeholders
  • Participate in the standardization and continuous optimization of procurement processes and workflows
  • Monitor, observe, and analyze trends in global procurement markets
  • Review purchasing requirements to ensure compliance with budget control and cost efficiency
  • Conduct cost comparisons and benchmarking analyses to support decision-making
  • Lead and coordinate tendering and bidding processes globally
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to secure optimal value for the organization
  • Ensure proper data management within procurement systems, maintain data accuracy, and drive reporting and analytics to support strategic decisions
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement value improvement initiatives
  • Manage global category and supplier portfolios and define corresponding strategies
  • Prepare and conduct supplier evaluations and corrective action plans
  • Monitor and control key procurement performance indicators (KPIs)

Requirements

  • Experience in international procurement, ideally in IT goods and services
  • Experience in contract negotiations and supplier performance management
  • Proven analytical, organizational, and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities in an international environment
  • Fluent in English; or additional languages are an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and SAP (Module MM)
