About the role

  • Procurement specialist responsible for operational procurement of materials for HoffmannGlas. Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and maintain supplier relations in a production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the operational procurement of raw, auxiliary and operating materials (RHB) as well as indirect materials to ensure smooth production processes
  • Processing orders according to the requirements of production planning and internal departments
  • Reviewing order confirmations and pre-accounting of invoices
  • Monitoring delivery dates and ensuring timely availability of goods
  • Ensuring compliance with and implementation of central purchasing directives, policies and strategies
  • Monitoring inventory levels in cooperation with warehouse management and taking measures to prevent shortages
  • Handling supplier complaints/claims
  • Maintaining purchasing and material data in the ERP system

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training
  • Professional experience as a purchasing clerk/specialist, preferably in a production environment
  • Strong organizational skills and a solution-oriented, structured way of working
  • Strong numeracy, confident appearance and persistence
  • Strong communication skills, team player and assertiveness
  • Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
