About the role
- Procurement specialist responsible for operational procurement of materials for HoffmannGlas. Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and maintain supplier relations in a production environment.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the operational procurement of raw, auxiliary and operating materials (RHB) as well as indirect materials to ensure smooth production processes
- Processing orders according to the requirements of production planning and internal departments
- Reviewing order confirmations and pre-accounting of invoices
- Monitoring delivery dates and ensuring timely availability of goods
- Ensuring compliance with and implementation of central purchasing directives, policies and strategies
- Monitoring inventory levels in cooperation with warehouse management and taking measures to prevent shortages
- Handling supplier complaints/claims
- Maintaining purchasing and material data in the ERP system
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training
- Professional experience as a purchasing clerk/specialist, preferably in a production environment
- Strong organizational skills and a solution-oriented, structured way of working
- Strong numeracy, confident appearance and persistence
- Strong communication skills, team player and assertiveness
- Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
