About the role
- Fundraising Events Manager leading high-profile fundraising events at London Transport Museum. Overseeing logistics, stakeholder management, and ensuring exceptional supporter care and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead the annual fundraising events programme, delivering a portfolio of high ‑ quality in ‑ person and online events from concept and planning through to delivery and post ‑ event evaluation.
- Oversee all event logistics, including timelines, budgets, risk assessments and contingency planning, ensuring delivery to agreed objectives and standards.
- Coordinate and manage external suppliers, acting as the primary point of contact and providing clear, detailed briefs to ensure seamless execution.
- Deliver outstanding supporter care throughout the event journey, from invitations and guest communications to post ‑ event follow ‑ up and impact reporting.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure events align with wider fundraising strategy and organisational objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience of successfully delivering multiple events concurrently
- Demonstrable track record of driving event sales through face‑to‑face, telephone and email communications
- Experience of generating income from events and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Proven ability to build, manage and sustain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
