About the role

  • Events Assistant supporting logistics and operations for events at a nonprofit focused on housing. Collaborating with the Events team to ensure seamless execution of event logistics and finances.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and execution of events
  • Conduct vendor research and support negotiations
  • Coordinate event logistics and attendee management processes
  • Process invoices for event-related vendors and track event expenses
  • Maintain organized records related to event finances
  • Serve as a contact for event-related material requests and track supplies

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience supporting a variety of events
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Experience with event management platforms such as Cvent a plus
  • Willingness to travel as needed and work occasional evenings and weekends
