About the role

  • Corporate Partnership Manager leading corporate partnerships and fundraising strategy for London Transport Museum. Focusing on building and managing partnerships to enhance mutual value and support museum's mission.

Responsibilities

  • Lead our corporate partnerships programme at a defining moment in our history.
  • Nurture our portfolio of long-standing corporate supporters, ensuring partnerships deliver mutual value.
  • Take a strategic approach to identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Craft compelling funding and partnership proposals and personally manage a portfolio of corporate prospects.
  • Deliver exceptional stewardship that strengthens long-term commitment.
  • Work closely with the Fundraising Events Manager to build and manage our corporate guest lists and secure exciting auction items for the annual fundraising event.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of partnership activity, income and communications within the CRM system.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of corporate fundraising, sponsorship or partnership development practice.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce persuasive proposals and present confidently to senior audiences.
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple partnerships and deadlines simultaneously.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in written communications and contractual documentation.
  • Confident user of MS Office and CRM/database systems to drive income generation.
  • Proactive, flexible and self motivated approach, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proven experience working in a corporate partnerships, sponsorship, fundraising or stakeholder management role.
  • Demonstrable track record of generating income through corporate relationships and meeting or exceeding income targets.
  • Experience of managing high value corporate relationships, including stewardship, renewals and contract delivery.
  • Experience of supporting or delivering partnership related events or activations.
  • Experience of working with internal teams to deliver integrated partnership activity.
