About the role

  • Manage Asset Information governance for Rail for London Infrastructure. Work on asset information processes and compliance within the department.

Responsibilities

  • Working within the Rail for London Infrastructure (RFLI) Governance team to provide the business with an asset information regime.
  • Develop, implement and continually review and refine RfLI's asset information governance and processes.
  • Implement best practice within RfLI with regards to the acquisition, management and organisation of asset information.
  • Accountable for leading and developing the department’s Asset Information governance strategy.
  • Responsible for keeping abreast of legislative changes.
  • Ensure asset information management processes are kept up to date.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of Information Management principles, practice and standards, e.g. BS EN ISO standard for BIM - ISO19650, Asset Management BS ISO 55000 and Information Management maturity model ISO-15489-1.
  • Extensive experience of the application of the appropriate standards and policies for handling, storing, disseminating and preserving asset information.
  • Proven record of the application of coherent Information Management and Information Assurance (IA) techniques and processes to ensure the effective use and exploitation of information.
  • Proven experience of exploiting opportunities for the organisation to derive maximum benefit from asset information.
  • Good knowledge of railway operations in the regulated sector.
