About the role

  • Senior Manager of Records Governance leading teams at Transport for NSW. Responsible for maintaining governance frameworks, compliance, and effective management of records systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team (6) and champion continuous improvement
  • Ensure records are managed effectively throughout their lifecycle
  • Shape and maintain governance frameworks, policies and guidance
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to embed good recordkeeping practices
  • Ensure compliance with State Records Act and align governance with broader digital, data, and organizational priorities
  • Drive consistency and uplift capability across Transport

Requirements

  • Deep experience in records and information governance
  • Strong understanding of standards, regulatory requirements and contemporary information management practices
  • Must be capable of translating governance concepts into practical, business‑focused solutions
  • Experience in influencing senior stakeholders across a complex organization
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Capable people leader who builds capability and leads through change
