Responsibilities
Administration and further development of the network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, firewalls)
Operation and maintenance of physical and virtual servers (e.g. VMware vSphere, Proxmox VE) as well as central storage systems
Management and maintenance of the Microsoft and Linux server landscape
Technical integration of sites and subsidiaries into the existing system landscape
Management and monitoring of SSL/TLS certificates, internal PKI structures, automated renewals and security monitoring as part of centralized certificate management
Coordination, implementation and documentation of IT security and backup concepts
Support in the implementation of cloud and hybrid solutions (e.g. Microsoft Azure, SAP BTP)
Collaboration with internal departments, subsidiaries, partners and external IT service providers
Monitoring, troubleshooting and performance optimization during ongoing operations
Interface to facility management regarding UPS, emergency power supply and early fire detection
Requirements
Degree in (business) computer science, completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or comparable qualification
Several years of experience administering complex IT infrastructures in industrial or production environments
Knowledge of SQL, Azure, cloud or S/4HANA integrations is a plus
Good English skills, spoken and written
Structured, independent working style with high technical precision
Team-oriented with willingness to travel internationally on occasion
