Analyst managing special returns programs ensuring compliance and operational efficiency at Johnson & Johnson. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to enhance program performance.
Responsibilities
Overseeing the day-to-day management, analysis, and optimization of existing and future special returns programs
Ensuring compliant, timely, and accurate processing of returned product activity
Identifying opportunities to enhance program performance, operational efficiency, and data integrity
Serving as a key liaison between internal teams, external partners, and industry stakeholders to support the continuous improvement and strategic growth of reverse distribution offerings
Oversee third-party vendors managing special returns programs, including performance monitoring and SLA compliance
Analyze return trends, develop monthly performance dashboards, and deliver insights to internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement
Partner with Brand, Finance, Trade, and other internal teams to forecast return volumes and support strategic planning
Create, maintain, and store SOPs and Work Instructions in Tru‑Vault; support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with program requirements
Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, streamline workflows, strengthen vendor processes, and reduce overall RD program costs
Manage contract renewals in collaboration with Procurement and Contracting teams
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, Finance, Operations, or a related discipline
2 – 4+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, reverse logistics, product returns, trade operations, or data analysis.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate operational data, identify trends, and produce actionable insights.
Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) or ERP/3PL systems.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present data-driven insights to cross-functional stakeholders.
Solid grasp of end-to-end supply chain operations, including order management, forward and reverse logistics.
