About the role

  • Analyst managing special returns programs ensuring compliance and operational efficiency at Johnson & Johnson. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to enhance program performance.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the day-to-day management, analysis, and optimization of existing and future special returns programs
  • Ensuring compliant, timely, and accurate processing of returned product activity
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance program performance, operational efficiency, and data integrity
  • Serving as a key liaison between internal teams, external partners, and industry stakeholders to support the continuous improvement and strategic growth of reverse distribution offerings
  • Oversee third-party vendors managing special returns programs, including performance monitoring and SLA compliance
  • Analyze return trends, develop monthly performance dashboards, and deliver insights to internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement
  • Partner with Brand, Finance, Trade, and other internal teams to forecast return volumes and support strategic planning
  • Create, maintain, and store SOPs and Work Instructions in Tru‑Vault; support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with program requirements
  • Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, streamline workflows, strengthen vendor processes, and reduce overall RD program costs
  • Manage contract renewals in collaboration with Procurement and Contracting teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, Finance, Operations, or a related discipline
  • 2 – 4+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, reverse logistics, product returns, trade operations, or data analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate operational data, identify trends, and produce actionable insights.
  • Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) or ERP/3PL systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present data-driven insights to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Solid grasp of end-to-end supply chain operations, including order management, forward and reverse logistics.
