About the role

  • Business Development Manager at iwoca focusing on partnerships with financial intermediaries. Working to optimize processes and maximize partnerships across Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain and expand relationships with commercial loan brokers across Germany
  • Plan, organize and execute partner meetings and regional events — high travel requirement (regular on-site visits to brokers, events, trade shows)
  • Manage and automate partner outreach through our CRM system (HubSpot) — segmentation, campaigns, nurturing
  • Develop and implement enablement initiatives (trainings, webinars, sales materials, playbooks)
  • Analyze relevant KPIs (activation rate, conversion, volume, CLTV) and derive concrete actions
  • Provide telephone and in-person support including regular check-ins and performance reviews
  • Optimize and standardize onboarding processes in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders
  • Continuously provide market feedback to product and process teams to optimize the partner journey.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in banking, fintech, consulting, or a similar field
  • Ideally you bring a strategic and commercial/sales mindset
  • You proactively conduct outreach by phone and email, meet partners in person, activate and grow a large network of brokers, and enjoy being on the road visiting our partners
  • You think in terms of scaling: you design efficient, data-driven processes, drive automation, and use tools intelligently to maximize impact and efficiency
  • Good knowledge of CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot).
