About the role

  • Payroll Specialist managing payroll and HR processes at IRS Group in Hamburg. Ensuring accurate payroll calculations and compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and ensure accurate payroll and salary processing
  • Record all payroll-relevant data, including tax and social security information
  • Manage reporting and certification processes and maintain master data
  • Implement salary changes, special payments, and company pension schemes
  • Prepare reports and support month‑end and year‑end closings
  • Contribute to and optimize HR processes within your area of responsibility

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training and further qualification in HR
  • At least 3 years' experience in payroll
  • Solid knowledge of employment, social security, and tax law
  • Experience with payroll systems (ideally Sage) and MS Office
  • Strong communication skills, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude
