Responsibilities
Lead the creation and maintenance of complex Excel spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Support data analysis initiatives by preparing datasets and performing preliminary data validation and cleaning.
Collaborate with team members to develop standardized reporting templates and dashboards to streamline data presentation.
Participate in the documentation of processes and best practices to enhance team efficiency.
Report and dashboard creation: Design, build, and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators and present findings clearly.
Automation: Develop and implement VBA macros and other scripts to automate repetitive tasks and streamline reporting processes.
Data management: Use tools to clean, transform, and consolidate large datasets, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions that support business strategies.
Problem-solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within spreadsheets and data models.
Documentation and support: Document processes, best practices, and provide training to other users.
Requirements
Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data visualization tools and building dashboards
Experience with creating end user reports from complex Excel datasets
Knowledge of automation tools like VBA and Power Query
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience with data validation and data integrity checks
Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately
Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment while maintaining high standards of accountability
