About the role

  • Assistant Front Office Manager overseeing operations and staff of the front office team in a luxury hotel. Responsible for guest relations, staff motivation, and training.

Responsibilities

  • Co-responsible for leading and motivating the Front Office team
  • Supporting the team in daily operational tasks
  • Complaint management and resolution
  • Creating duty rosters and managing vacation scheduling, as well as performing Manager on Duty (MOD) shifts
  • Representing and supporting the Front Office Manager
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of new processes
  • Conducting trainings and onboarding for new employees

Requirements

  • A devoted host with a genuine passion for fulfilling guest wishes
  • Completed vocational training in hospitality and/or professional experience in a similar position
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and reliably
  • Representing the hotel with a professional appearance
  • An open and warm personality
  • Excellent German and English skills
  • Ideally, experience with OPERA Cloud hotel software
