About the role

  • Account Manager serving as primary point of contact for TPO clients, ensuring smooth loan processing. Collaborating with internal teams for seamless service delivery within the mortgage sector.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between TPO clients, Account Executives, and our internal operations team.
  • Provide guidance on Verus loan programs to a group of assigned TPO clients.
  • Responsible for providing program and system delivery expertise while assisting the TPO client in monitoring their pipeline and closing loans in a timely manner.
  • Critical in facilitating seamless workflow and minimizing delays and escalating issues to ensure 'white glove' service through to the closing of each loan.
  • Success in this role requires excellent customer service, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required (associate degree in business preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years previous experience with first mortgage processing, underwriting, or sales support. Knowledge of non-QM and jumbo guidelines required.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, with medium to advanced Excel skills and database management, familiarity with standard mortgage operating systems.
  • Solid time management skills and the ability to organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, reason, problem solve, prioritize work independently, and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent analytical, written, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent communication and ability to build and sustain relationships with clients and partners.
  • A true team player and collaborator, translating knowledge and experience into strong and productive relationships internally and externally.
  • Results oriented with proven record of outstanding ability to motivate and influence others to accomplish objectives: present oneself assertively, convincingly and with confidence to establish credibility and respect from others.
