About the role

  • Personal Lines Account Manager responsible for servicing accounts and client relationships. Managing renewals, inquiries, and assisting with new business at University Bank.

Responsibilities

  • The Personal Lines Account Manager is responsible for making changes to customer accounts within carrier guidelines.
  • Renewing and reviewing all personal lines accounts based on agency procedures.
  • Follow up with underwriter and customer through the renewal process and with changes.
  • Log all activities in agency management system.
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding coverage, changes, claims, etc.
  • Handle overflow of new business when needed.
  • Assist Producer(s) when needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3 years of previous personal lines insurance servicing & quoting experience highly preferred.
  • Current Property & Casualty Insurance License in required lines (or ability to obtain license within 90 days of obtaining role).
  • Excellent organizational, time management & analytical skills.
  • Strong computer skills required such as Excel and Word.
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive information, maintaining confidentiality of customers personal information.
