About the role

  • Head of Marketing leading marketing strategy execution for Intrepid Travel in Canada. Overseeing operations, managing a talented team, and driving brand awareness and sales growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive the execution of Intrepid’s marketing strategy in Canada
  • Focus on maximizing brand awareness, driving sales growth, and enhancing customer engagement
  • Oversee all marketing operations across the country, including multi-channel campaigns, brand activations, marquee partnerships like TIFF, and collaborations with global marketing teams
  • Manage a diverse and talented marketing team and oversee multimillion-dollar budgets
  • Ensure alignment with company objectives while delivering measurable results against KPIs, revenue targets, and passenger growth goals
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture and inspire your team to achieve ambitious goals

Requirements

  • Tertiary marketing qualifications
  • 7+ years marketing experience, preferably for a global organization
  • Extensive experience across all marketing disciplines – including brand marketing, PR and performance/digital
  • Record of success in traditional and non-traditional marketing with measurable results
  • Proven people management and leadership skills
  • Data driven and performance marketing oriented
  • Experience managing agency relationships and media buying
  • Experience managing sizeable marketing budgets
  • Experience managing big partnerships and activations like TIFF
  • Outstanding strategic thinking and decision making
  • Solid negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills
