About the role

  • Store Manager leading and developing a retail team at INTERSPORT in Berlin. Responsible for sales performance and customer service excellence in a sports-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in daily store operations on the sales floor
  • Lead, motivate and develop your store team
  • Take responsibility for the sales and profitability of your store
  • Ensure first-class customer service and a positive shopping experience
  • Manage merchandise presentation and implement sales-promoting visual merchandising
  • Analyze relevant KPIs (e.g., sales, cost of goods sold, footfall) and derive appropriate measures
  • Implement sales campaigns and assortment concepts
  • Organize and continuously optimize day-to-day store processes

Requirements

  • Completed commercial training in retail or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in retail, ideally in sporting goods
  • Initial leadership experience (e.g., deputy store manager, department manager or similar)
  • Strong customer and service orientation
  • Enjoy leading a team and motivating employees
  • Good numerical understanding and experience working with KPIs
  • Strong organizational skills, self-responsibility and reliability
  • High affinity for sport and physical activity
