Responsibilities
Develop new business with targeted OEMs and system integrators; build a robust pipeline and advance opportunities to closure.
Identify customer needs and translate hygienic and regulatory requirements into fit-for-purpose material handling solutions.
Work closely with Area Sales Managers (ASMs) to plan visits, co-sell, prepare proposals, and follow up through to deal closure.
Use CRM to track opportunities, contacts, and forecasts; provide regular, reliable activity reporting and achieve agreed sales targets.
Feed the learning cycle by capturing market requirements and customer feedback to inform product improvements and roadmaps.
Collaborate with a dedicated international hygienics team – leveraging product specialists and application engineers to win key projects.
Requirements
5+ years of consultative sales experience in hygienically sensitive environments
Degree in sales/business with a technical focus preferred
Deep understanding of hygienic design and standards in the food & beverage industry, pharmaceuticals, and related sectors
Experience selling technical solutions in logistics/material handling environments is a strong plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM and ERP systems; structured, proactive and highly organized
Fluent German and professional English (B2) for international contexts
Willingness to travel frequently nationwide to customers, partners and trade shows.
