About the role

  • UK Operations Manager supporting UK service line leads in delivering strategy at fast-growing advisory firm. Driving efficiency and operational effectiveness within the UK business.

Responsibilities

  • Optimise staff deployment and efficiency through strong links with the Resourcing function.
  • Support CPO on implementation of people initiatives / issues where relevant
  • Work with business units and Finance to optimise cash and WIP management
  • Support UK service line leaders and CFO on budgeting process
  • Working with others in the business, drive initiatives to maximise revenue per MD, and embed Pricing Governance.
  • Work with the CGO and UK Leadership Team to implement optimal strategy for UK sales and BD function. Support on GTM strategy implementation where relevant.
  • Work with all areas of the business support functions to support embedding and adoption of new technology.
  • Support UK Leadership Team on monthly business unit reviews, including maintaining momentum on associated actions in between reviews.
  • Support UK business units to implement and drive efficiency measures to maximise UK business contribution.
  • With the support of the UK CEO, lead weekly UK Leadership Team meetings, including setting agenda, tracking and driving associated actions.
  • Prepare for, set agenda and chair monthly UK Leadership Team strategy meetings.

Requirements

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant, or other similar professional qualification preferred, but not required
  • 5-10 years’ experience in professional services, either in client delivery or an operational role
  • Experience in:
  • Process Optimisation: Streamlining workflows, improving efficiency
  • Financial Management: Budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation
  • Technology and systems: Familiarity with ERP systems and CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred but not essential)
  • Core skills:

  • Analytical Ability: Using data to drive decisions
  • Communication: Managing internal team and stakeholder expectations
