About the role
- Infrastructure-focused Senior TechOps Engineer integrating SDKs and building data pipelines at Intent HQ. Join a leading Customer AI Analytics and Data Science company.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement infrastructure running 24/7, supporting ingestion of data initially from an extremely successful privacy-focused mobile telemetry product.
- Give input to the AI + Data software teams as they build out an ML system on top of the infrastructure.
- Take part in building out an SRE culture across our Infrastructure teams and building systems that identify problems before they impact customers.
- Have a plan for onboarding existing systems and customers onto the new system
- Be part of maturing Release and Deployment processes across the company.
- Optimise the costs of running our infrastructure and how we can reuse as much as possible.
- General operational support.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Software/Infrastructure engineering roles.
- Experience with at least one of the major public clouds (We mostly use AWS)
- Awareness of how infrastructure + platform decisions impact downstream systems.
- Hands on usage of Kubernetes + Containers + Terraform
- Hands-on experience with Kafka + Infrastructure Deployments.
- Scripting/Software experience using Python
- Familiarity with Databricks
- Familiarity with Openshift
- Experience in an Infrastructure Team supporting high scale data/ML applications.
