About the role

  • HPC Storage Dev Ops Engineer identifies and optimizes storage solutions at Intel. Overseeing installation and performance to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and optimize installation, configuration, and tuning NAS, S3, and backup solutions.
  • Design and implement scalable storage and backup infrastructure modifications.
  • Develop and enforce policies for consistent provisioning, uptime, and data protection.
  • Track storage and backup usage, manage data migrations, and enhance configurations.
  • Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain data integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related STEM field
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain US Government TS Security Clearance and SCI access
  • 5 plus years of experience with large Enterprise NAS environment
  • Knowledge of NetApp Storage protocols including NFS, SMB/CIFS, iSCSI, and/or FCP
  • Automation, troubleshooting and maintaining Python/Bash/PowerShell scripts
  • Experience with Netapp products specially FAS/AFF storage devices.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of experience as Project Manager in leading Infrastructure related projects.
