About the role

  • Customer Service Representative serving as Client Advocate to resolve inquiries and enhance customer experience. Joining Indiana Farmers Insurance's Client Communities Team in Indianapolis, IN.

Responsibilities

  • Help resolve customer inquiries and provide the ultimate customer experience!
  • Completing initial new claims setup;
  • Processing one-contact claims;
  • Providing guidance for repair facilities;
  • Coordinating rental reservations;
  • Ensuring the seamless transfer of more complex inquiries to the appropriate individuals;
  • Receiving and processing payment-related inquiries via telephone;
  • Guiding policyholders through the online payment process;
  • Actively engaging policyholders and agents through surveys and digital platforms to gather information;
  • Strengthening relationships, enhancing the overall service experience;
  • Processing simple policyholder change requests;
  • Entering data accurately within various systems;

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional customer service experience or training, required
  • Completing initial new claims setup; processing one-contact claims; providing guidance for repair facilities; coordinating rental reservations; and ensuring the seamless transfer of more complex inquiries to the appropriate individuals
  • Receiving and processing payment-related inquiries via telephone and/or guiding policyholders through the online payment process
  • Actively engaging policyholders and agents through surveys and digital platforms to gather information, strengthen relationships, and enhance the overall service experience
  • Processing simple policyholder change requests
  • Entering data accurately within various systems
  • Desire to increase knowledge, learn new systems and adopt new tools to enhance overall job performance
  • Flexibility in work schedule with the ability to work outside of normal office hours
