(IIANC) is a statewide trade association representing nearly 1000 independent insurance agencies in North Carolina, with more than 7,000 employees, who work to protect the insurance and financial needs of the state's citizens.
IIANC member independent insurance agents represent more than one insurance company, and as a result, can offer clients a wider choice of auto, home, business, life and health coverages.
IIANC member agents not only advise clients about insurance, they recommend loss-prevention ideas, and if a loss occurs, the independent agent will work with the client until the claim is settled.
Founded in 1898, IIANC's mission is to be an advocate for independent insurance agents and to satisfy the business and professional needs of its members.
