Community Manager building and managing NEXT.io’s iGaming community across digital and physical channels. Engaging with professionals, and facilitating events and discussions.
Responsibilities
Community platform management
Launch and manage a unified community platform (e.g. Discord, Heartbeat, or alternative)
Migrate and consolidate existing groups (WhatsApp, Telegram) into a cohesive hub
Manage day-to-day moderation, onboarding, and community experience
Spark authentic conversations and connections among iGaming professionals
Plan and run regular community programming such as polls, AMAs, and discussions
Deliver event-related engagement before, during, and after NEXT.io summits and retreats
Support and organise small-scale community meetups, run clubs, and social gatherings, particularly in Malta
Work with Marketing to grow membership and drive visibility
Partner with Events to ensure seamless community integration with live conferences and retreats
Collaborate with Media to seed content (news, podcasts, spotlights, research) into community channels
Track engagement and retention metrics (MAU, NPS, time-to-first-post)
Gather feedback and implement new features, formats, and workflows
Contribute to community playbooks and scalable processes.
Requirements
2–4+ years of community management experience (online groups, professional networks, or events)
Strong communication and facilitation skills; able to drive authentic engagement
Experience managing platforms such as Discord, Heartbeat, Telegram, or similar
Organised and process-driven; comfortable with moderation and community guidelines
Based in Malta (preferred) or Europe with CET-friendly hours
