About the role

  • HR Generalist supporting ICEYE employees in Germany with onboarding, compliance, and employee relations. Collaborating with global HR while managing local HR practices and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employees in Germany, managing HR queries and lifecycle events in line with global standards.
  • Own local onboarding, relocation, and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with German labor law and a high-quality employee experience.
  • Manage local HR vendors and payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong data integrity in HR systems.
  • Handle employee relations cases and advise the local CEO, escalating complex topics to Global HR when needed.

Requirements

  • **What we’re looking for**
  • **Must haves:**
  • Strong working knowledge of German labor law and local HR practices, with experience creating compliant policies and documentation.
  • Hands-on experience across the employee lifecycle, including contracts, onboarding, offboarding, and vendor management.
  • Proven ability to handle employee relations cases with sound judgment and discretion.
  • Fluency in English and German, with strong communication skills across local and global stakeholders.
  • **Nice to haves:**
  • Experience working in a global or matrixed organization.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and ticketing systems such as HiBob.
  • Experience supporting fast-scaling or high-growth environments.
