About the role

  • Associate Director of IT Solutions Delivery managing IAM practices and operational efficiency at iA Financial Group. Ensuring high-quality service and customer support for Identity and Access Management.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the day‑to‑day operational management of technical and customer support teams;
  • Managing exception and escalation situations while ensuring a high level of customer service quality;
  • Providing hands‑on people management focused on clear expectations, accountability, performance management, absenteeism, and skills development;
  • Supporting the structuring of teams and practices in line with evolving organizational and operational needs;
  • Driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives;
  • Establishing and maintaining partnerships with technology vendors and contributing to cost center budget management;
  • Working closely with IT teams, internal partners, and the Information Technology Vice‑Presidency.

Requirements

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience;
  • Has a minimum of 8 years of experience combining IT resource management and information technology;
  • Demonstrates significant experience managing operational technical teams requiring close and rigorous oversight;
  • Has advanced proficiency in French and an advanced level of English;
  • Demonstrates strong organizational, planning, and execution follow‑up skills;
  • Is comfortable in a role requiring active field presence, frequent follow‑ups, and rapid intervention with teams;
  • Has a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile, DevOps, and Lean methodologies;
  • Shows innovation and the ability to mobilize teams during periods of change;
  • Is able to manage multiple, sometimes competing priorities and develop effective action plans;
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills that foster a collaborative work environment;
