  • Commercial Operations Leader managing risk throughout the commercial phase at Hubbell. Leading customer negotiations and developing strategies with Sales and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage risk throughout the commercial phase
  • Lead customer negotiations
  • Ensure compliance with Hubbell Utility Solutions risk management standards
  • Partner with Sales and cross-functional teams to develop strategies
  • Create proposals and drive process improvements
  • Oversee risk reviews and approvals
  • Participate in proposal generation and negotiations
  • Maintain effective risk management throughout the deal lifecycle
  • Align with customer CTQs
  • Conduct Risk Review sessions
  • Review and redline commercial documents to mitigate risks
  • Guide Sales and tendering teams in proposal quality assurance
  • Ensure smooth handover of signed contracts to Order Management
  • Help design and standardize proposals
  • Drive change management to optimize commercial processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline from an accredited university or college.
  • At least five years of experience in commercial operations, contract management, sales, or project management roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team, with a strong commitment to achieving results and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Outstanding communication, influencing, and presentation abilities.
  • Technical expertise in the Utilities or Energy (Grid Automation) sector.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite applications.
