Responsibilities
- As a Mainframe Operations Lead at Kyndryl, you'll have the opportunity to shape the very foundation of the technology that drives our world.

- In this role, you'll provide the underlying Mainframe operating system platform programming and DBDC subsystem programming support that forms the backbone of our applications.
- You'll guide functional objectives on technologies and make use of your expert knowledge to drive solutions to complex problems.
- As a leader in this field, you'll also be expected to conduct RCA discussions for the products you work on and provide ongoing technical and operational guidance to lead professional work teams.
- You may even manage departments on a national or international level, defining objectives and managing resources to ensure the success of your projects.
- Your expertise will be crucial in influencing people outside of your department or function, and you'll have the opportunity to directly shape the technology landscape of the world we live in.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 to 9 Years' experience in Mainframes batch and console operations.
- Proficient in MVS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, Mainframe System Knowledge, Basics of Mainframe operations, networking.
- Expertise on monitoring tools like IBM Omega Mon, CA Insight, BMC Main view etc.
- DB2, CICS and other Mainframe related Tools for Batch Environment Experience in scheduling on-request batch jobs that require immediate execution.
- Ability to invoke resolution and restart procedures in case of failures in the batch jobs.
- Execute production subsystem (e.g., IMS, CICS, DB2, IDMS) started tasks restarts, as per support team specifications during special activity changes and upgrading.
