About the role

Responsibilities

  • Leads a team of information technologists within the School of Medicine
  • Manages the day-to-day activities and supervises staff
  • Serves as a subject matter expert and point of escalation
  • May manage projects and budgets
  • Facilitates the design and solutions to support faculty, staff, and students
  • Collaborates with other groups within the University
  • Performs related responsibilities as required

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems or a related field
  • Five years of information technology or systems support experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on IT asset management experience within a complex or decentralized environment
  • Experience administering Axonius or similar ITAM/CAASM solutions such as Armis, Lansweeper, and Qualys
  • Strong understanding of IT hardware lifecycle management
  • Direct experience with E-Surplus or asset disposal workflows
  • Experience supporting storage environments including monitoring, capacity planning, and access management
  • Familiarity with software licensing management
  • Prior experience in system administration (Windows, Mac or Linux) and backup management
