- Oversee financial governance for digital and IT initiatives, ensuring accurate budgeting, expenditure tracking, and reporting across a diverse portfolio of projects.
- Manage end-to-end budgeting, expense tracking, and reporting for IT and digital projects.
- Maintain a clear understanding of project scope, cost components (CapEx, OpEx, labor, vendor expenses), forecasts, and long-term financial impact.
- Respond to IT and software development requests by assessing scope, classifying costs (including capitalization of development per accounting standards), and ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
- Deliver insightful analysis to support business case development for new initiatives and portfolio investments.
- Prepare reports on IT costs and risk profiles for leadership review.
- Identify opportunities for cost efficiency and provide recommendations to guide investment decisions.
- Lead initiatives to automate IT financial workflows using digital tools and dashboards, enabling real-time visibility and improved efficiency.
- Collaborate with business leaders and IT teams to provide financial guidance and influence decision-making.
Requirements
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.
