APAC Online Category Manager leading HP's Premium and Gaming business in Asia Pacific markets. Collaborating with teams to drive growth strategies and execute product launches across online platforms.
Responsibilities
Be the go to expert for accelerating Premium & Gaming business from HP's own website and Official Store's on marketplaces
Work closely with country teams and regional stakeholders to create launch and growth plans for the premium & gaming portfolio
Own Time-to-Market product launches
Lead premium & gaming-specific special projects/ initiatives, including but not limited to premium & gaming solution bundles
Product line and quota responsibility for a product range, or a specific customer segment
Broad understanding of category product, business management and sales challenges and strategies
Functional responsibility for the team in one or several areas (market analysis, marketing engagement, etc)
Responsible for creating and driving their sales pipeline
Maintain knowledge of competitors to strategically position HP's products and services better
Use specialty expertise to seek out new opportunities and expand and enhance existing opportunities to build the pipeline
Provide support to country managers and provide input regarding business development and solution expertise
May invest time working with and leveraging external partners (alliance / marketplaces) to deliver sales.
Directs or coordinates supporting sales activities.
Requirements
University or Bachelor's degree
Directly related previous work experience
Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota
Diversity of business customer experience
Higher level customer interface
Extensive selling experience within industry and on similar products
Typically 8-12 years of advanced sales experience
Project management skills
2-3 years of category management / product sales within the Consumer PC / Gaming category.
