About the role

  • Media Consultant & Planner developing and implementing cross-media paid media strategies for clients. Collaborating with internal teams and conducting market analyses in Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Development, planning and implementation of cross-media, integrated paid media strategies as part of our clients' advertising and information campaigns
  • Creation of target audience and competitor analyses using industry-standard studies and tools
  • Tool-based creation of media plans and cost estimates for media activities across various channels, e.g., print, online, out-of-home, audio, TV, cinema
  • Preparation of presentations, reports and campaign documentation
  • Client communication, account management and day-to-day client consulting
  • Communication and coordination with media owners/partners and other service providers (e.g., creative and PR agencies)
  • Cross-location collaboration with expert teams across the Mediaplus Group, e.g., procurement, billing, Research & Insights, Performance & Programmatic Media
  • Support in developing creative media ideas, first-mover implementations and new business projects
  • Support in conducting research activities and measuring campaign success

Requirements

  • Degree in business administration, marketing, media management (or completed vocational training in a comparable field)
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in media planning and client consulting (cross-media) at a media agency
  • Project management and coordination of various stakeholders and departments
  • Analytical skills, strong numerical understanding and structured working methods
  • Strong affinity for (digital) media and associated performance metrics
  • Enjoyment of client contact and confident presentation skills in German and English
  • Confident use of common planning and Office tools
  • In addition to solid professional knowledge, you demonstrate strong consulting skills, team spirit, personality and commitment — and importantly: a sense of humor and genuine enjoyment working with colleagues
