About the role

  • Business Development & Brokerage Associate at Hokanson Companies, a leading commercial real estate firm. Involved in deal execution, business growth, and relationship management as part of a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical support to the sales and brokerage team for specific projects and property tours.
  • Summarize complex leases and proposals for review by the brokerage team.
  • Prepare Landlord leasing updates and assist in the creation of sophisticated client presentations.
  • Identify and research potential business opportunities and new customers to increase market penetration.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with prospects through diligent follow-up and outreach.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Hokanson’s full-service capabilities: development, property management, construction, and leasing.
  • Manage the investment and prospect database (CRM)—entering leads, tracking progress, and reporting on sales activity.
  • Execute strategic marketing plans and e-marketing programs to showcase company expertise.
  • Monitor and report on market trends and customer feedback to keep the team ahead of the competition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Existing Real Estate License is preferred/required.
  • 1–2+ years of professional experience in business development, sales, or real estate.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • A 'hunter' mentality with the ability to diligently pursue opportunities in a competitive landscape.
  • Sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage direction in a fast-paced environment.
