Responsibilities
Legal support: You advise and support executive management and specialist departments on all legal matters.
Contract management: You review, negotiate and draft, among others, construction contracts, service agreements and supply contracts.
Compliance & legal: You ensure compliance with statutory requirements and regulations.
Legal representation: You represent the interests of HÖRMANN Kommunikation & Netze in arbitration proceedings and, where necessary, in court.
Stakeholder management: You communicate with internal and external partners, contractual counterparties and authorities.
Specialized areas: You work in construction law as well as individual and collective labor/employment law.
Project work: You independently take on special projects and drive them forward.
Requirements
Educational background: Degree in law — Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), Master of Laws (LL.M.), Diplom-Jurist (Dipl.-Jur.), state examination (Staatsexamen) or equivalent legal qualifications (Second state examination not strictly required).
Professional experience: Practical experience in a law firm or in-house at a company is desirable.
Professional skills: Analytical ability to clarify complex issues and problem-solving skills to develop legally sound approaches.
Attention to detail: Precise handling of complex legal documents and contracts.
Specialized knowledge: Ideally expertise in construction and architects' law.
Communication: Assertiveness, negotiation skills and goal-oriented communication abilities.
Language skills: German at C2 level, English B1–B2.
Continuing education: Willingness to engage in regular professional development to stay up to date with legal developments and legislation.
