About the role

  • Key Account Manager focusing on the strategic development of Deutsche Bahn with Funkwerk group's innovative communication technology. Responsible for client relationships, market development, and sales strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing and strategically developing a key account portfolio with a focus on Deutsche Bahn
  • Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
  • Identifying and developing new market opportunities
  • Planning and conducting client visits and presentations
  • Preparing proposals and conducting contract negotiations
  • Closely collaborating with internal specialist departments to implement sales strategies
  • Preparing monthly forecasts

Requirements

  • Degree or vocational training in business administration, sales, or a related field
  • Several years of professional experience in sales and key account management, ideally in the rail or public transport (ÖPNV) sector
  • Strong sensitivity to customer needs
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Structured, independent and goal-oriented working style
  • Proficient in MS Office and Microsoft Dynamics (CRM)
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
  • Willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally internationally
