About the role
- Real Estate Contract Management Specialist responsible for the entire procurement process from initiation to contract execution. Joining Hitachi Energy to support global real estate management in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define the project objective, scope, timeline, procurement needs, specific requirements related to assets, services or suppliers, quality standards and other essential criteria.
- Work with the indirect SCM contact (CAPEX) to trigger and track the creation or reactivation of new suppliers.
- Issue purchase requests/purchase orders/WBS, coordinate the receipt of goods/services, perform invoice reconciliation and process payments.
- Collaborate with the indirect SCM contact (CAPEX) on the preparation, execution and management of contracts.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, mitigate risks, resolve issues and monitor procurements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Real Estate or Facilities Management
- Experience managing industrial real estate projects including contract management is an asset
- Strong background in project management, contract negotiation and procurement processes
- Proficient with MS Office suite and SAP/Ariba
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Resilience, autonomy, reliability, proactivity and team spirit
- Collaborative mindset, energy and adaptability to change
- Language requirements: English and French (bilingual)
