About the role

  • Cloud Engineer for Incident Response building secure AWS cloud infrastructures and managing Kubernetes clusters in hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build, operate, and develop secure AWS cloud infrastructures using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters, e.g., EKS, and operate them efficiently
  • Design and automate CI/CD pipelines, including DevSecOps checks
  • Support the incident response team in the analysis and remediation of IT security incidents
  • Collaborate closely with clients and DevOps, security, and development teams

Requirements

  • Several years of experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and infrastructure automation, e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation
  • Solid expertise in Kubernetes operations and security
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong analytical ability to structure complexity, clarify relationships, and design and explain concepts
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in German
