About the role
- Azure Architect responsible for technical guidance and solution architecture. Enhancing analytics and AI platforms for a leading tech firm in Brazil.
Responsibilities
- Be the primary technical reference for the development squad, guiding the team in solving complex problems and ensuring the adoption of best practices;
- Analyze business and technical requirements to design and document high-level (HLD) and low-level (LLD) solution architectures for Analytics and AI platforms;
- Define and implement data governance processes and development standards, including creating templates and accelerators to increase efficiency and quality;
- Design and optimize solutions in heterogeneous, mission-critical environments with large volumes of data (Big Data) and real-time processing;
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines focused on Analytics and AI, automating provisioning, testing, and deployment;
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to keep the organization at the forefront of data innovation.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of architecture and governance for BI, Big Data, and AI solutions, particularly on Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Hadoop (HDFS, Spark, Hive).
- Expertise in multidimensional modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake) and relational modeling with a focus on performance and security.
- Proficiency in Python for automation and data manipulation.
- Experience defining and implementing data ingestion and real-time replication processes (CDC – Change Data Capture).
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert; AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional; Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect; TOGAF® Certified or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud governance tools (Azure Purview, GCP DataPlex, AWS Glue) is a plus.
- Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Proven track record in defining technology roadmaps and enterprise-level data strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields. Postgraduate degree, Master's, or MBA in Software Architecture, Big Data, AI, or Data Science is desirable.
