About the role
- Senior Insurance Product Manager developing and optimizing digital insurance products at hepster. Collaborating with internal and external partners in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Optimization and development of existing insurance products
- Integration of planning into a company-wide roadmap
- Creation of internal and external product and coverage overviews and comparisons
- Management of diversification for the product and risk-carrier (underwriter) portfolio
- Support for tendering processes and negotiation of product setups
- Ensuring development, creation and maintenance of documentation
- Acting as the subject-matter contact for internal product and support inquiries
- Conducting internal product training
- Participation in negotiation and integration discussions with partners
- Acting as the main contact for risk-carrier partnerships
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an insurance and finance clerk or a degree in business administration/insurance management
- Several years of professional experience in the insurance sector (product development for property/casualty insurance, e.g., in leasing, bicycle, electronics, or pet insurance)
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Team player with a structured and proactive working style
- Continuous self-development and ongoing acquisition of specialist knowledge
- Very good German and English skills
